To determine which kit to order, you first need to decide at which point in the engines cooling system you will be picking up water. (See diagram below). If you plan to tap into a hose and use a Tee fitting, measure the inside diameter (“A”) of the hose and find the corresponding model(s) in the following table. Find the overall length of the Tee (”B”) and confirm that there is enough available hose for the connection. Finally, select the model whose branch fitting O.D. matches the size of the injection fitting (”C”) on your SureSealTM (3/8” O.D. on units less than 3”, 1/2” O.D. on larger sizes). If you will be tapping into one of the other fixed points, remove the plug and measure its thread size (”D”).
Find the corresponding model(s) in the table below and select the part whose outlet end O.D. matches that of the injection fitting on your SureSeal™.
